2024 Valor Fest: Thanks to All Who Participated!
Earlier this month, we celebrated our 2024 Valor Fest in collaboration with Pints 4 Heroes. An event for those who love supporting veterans and dog lovers alike, we were so thrilled to have a great turnout and a beautiful day for this year’s festival!
We joined forces with Pints 4 Heroes to raise money through this event and the different activities we planned for our attendees, and were so proud to be able to donate the proceeds to the Joint Task Force K9s (JTFK9s) organization, a nonprofit dedicated to helping disabled veterans, law enforcement members, and military members through K9 therapy classes and service dogs. Keith Holland, the founder and CEO of the company, and his own loyal service dog Quill, were a joy to have at Valor Fest, and we loved helping them support their mission of saving lives, one dog at a time.
This year’s Valor Fest included a 5k run and 1k dog walk, a competitive cornhole tournament, and service dog demonstrations as well. We also got to celebrate the meeting of a brave and hardworking service dog, Finn, and his new owner, a U.S. Marine who’ll be sure to become his best buddy! The competitions and demonstrations were a blast, and we loved seeing the turnout of all of our local friends and enthusiasts with their own dogs!
We’d like to thank everyone who participated in making Valor Fest happen this year from the bottom of our hearts. We can’t wait to see what the coming year holds in store!
